a glimpse… Below are mini-galleries of what you might see from our gifted artist community when you visit. Our space is always changing and offers a year-round art show in our artists’ hometown.
Inside the Gallery at any given time is an ongoing local art show. Our local artist community is always creating and we offer them a space in their hometown to feature and sell their work. There is a lot of creative talent concentrated in the Chattanooga valley. Our goal is to present a diverse collection of original creations for your consideration, AND for you to add to your collection. We appreciate your support for our local artist community.
NOTE: the pieces featured are examples of the artists’ work only and may not be available. Our first priority to our artists is to present their available work in the gallery space, so our website is often behind our actual inventory. You are however guaranteed to see something new from our artist community with every visit. Come see us. Seeing is Believing.

A Frozen Pipe event on the 4th floor above the gallery on Christmas Eve has shut down our gallery until the space can be dried out and restored. Fortunately, our property management team notified us immediately and with the help for some of the apartment residents above, we were able to save the art and move it to a dry temporary space that evening. It was truly a Christmas Miracle — coming together with our neighbors, working together for the benefit of others’ life work, so there was limited loss — we were so moved and we are very grateful. Happy New Year…stay tuned to what comes next.

We change over the back of our gallery space for a featured artist show about every two months, and openings are in conjunction with our monthly FIRST FRIDAY open house events - the 1st Friday of the month from 6-8pm.

Update of a Classic
Our artists work in many mediums. At any given time, what you see in the gallery is only a small sampling of their range and style. We strive to offer a diverse collection and host a mix of artists whose work doesn’t compete directly with one another. Art is very personal and we hope you’ll find something that moves you and wants to live in your environment.
You’ll find more “Available Work” posts on our Instagram Page. Please follow there for non-professional images, work titles, dimensions, and prices — @area61chattanooga
Each artist prices their work and the gallery does not add any mark-up, so there is a wide range of price points. Several artists price generously because they want their work to be accessible to collectors of all stages. Payment Plan options are available and shipping is quoted based on the final destination.

Our artists work in many mediums. At any given time, what you see in the gallery is only a small sampling of their range and style. Working artists refine, develop, experiment, and what we’ve seen is they are never static. They may be known for one style or another, but their creative spirit evolves. We strive to offer a diverse collection, host a mix of artists whose work doesn’t compete with one another. Art is very personal - especially wearable art. When you find your piece, we know you’ll feel amazing when you wear it. We often select our attire around that special piece…have fun adorning yourself and those you love.
